Potato Wharf recognised at the NHBC - Pride in the Job - Supreme awards

From a pool of around 10,000 UK site managers, just four were selected as Supreme Award winners with a further four chosen as runners-up. In the Multi-storey builder category, Neil Brook at Lendlease was recognised as a runner-up for the site Potato Wharf in Manchester

The award is indicative of the high standards achieved throughout the build process and in line with the quality required for NHBC. The NHBC Standards define the technical requirements and performance standards for the design and construction of new homes to be covered by Buildmark and provide guidance on how these can be achieved.

This is the latest phase of this complex, historic, inner-city residential development which is known for it’s Roman fort ‘castle in the field’, parks, viaducts and canals. The redevelopment has been ongoing on this site for over 10 years with Weedon Architects being brought in for concept and delivery of the later phases.
