Weedon Architects have been involved in several projects at Kings Cross including the Google let S2.
Developing from stage 2 alongside the Concept architect Mossessian and submitted for Planning consent a flexible working commercial space was developed within a multi use building , including restaurants, CAT A office space, roof terraces and balconies.
The use of black volcanic rock characterises this building together with it’s partner building, S1. The glazed openings are lined with anodised aluminium creating a random pattern on the façade whilst integrating internally with the 1500mm planning grid.
The Steel frame with exposed integrated services will provide a dramatic backdrop to the Google fit out.
