Arley Estate

Weedon Architects were appointed to remodel Arley House to create a wedding and events venue adjacent to Arley Arboretum

Much of the estate is within the Upper Arley Conservation Area and one of our current projects involves the re-use of a Grade II listed building. The wider estate is open to the public and is managed on behalf of Trustees and the estate has developed a successful events and weddings business.

Weedon have developed an understanding of the estate’s business and have been involved in assessing existing buildings on the estate for re-development to realise potential assets in different uses.  Permission for change of use and listed building consent have been obtained for Arley Grange (grade II)  to create a 14 bedroom boutique hotel and permission for Arley Gaol to create 2 holiday let apartments.
