The Practice purchased a site in Newhall Street, Birmingham with a view to adapting the existing buildings and move the office into the City Centre.
In March 2012 construction commenced on site and was completed in 6 months on time in August.
The previously rundown 1980s sales office and warehouse is now an exciting, accessible, contemporary workplace. A mixture of single and double-height spaces encourage collaborative working. Green credentials include: A biodiverse Green Roof reducing surface water run-off: LED lighting with absence / presence detection: High thermal mass; Increased insulation: Zoned underfloor heating.
The project has been awarded a prestigious British Council for Office Award for the best refurbished / recycled workplace in the Midlands and East Anglia region.
