Hungate

Weedon Architects have been working at Hungate for a number of years on a range of separate Apartment schemes on the same site.

Phases 2 (195 Apts) and 3(101Apts and MS Car Park) are now complete, with Phases four, five and six to follow in due course. Our involvement in these subsequent phases is in progressing each scheme proposal from Planning through Design Development, for the Developer, ready for Tender. We are then being Novated to the successful Contractor to see the schemes through to Completion.

As part of the wider redevelopment and masterplan of the Hungate area of York, a B2R block is being developed on one part of the site to cater for the increase in demand for this type of tenure.

Similar to earlier phases this courtyard shaped building will have a mix and range of apartments with ground floor communal accommodation.

Weedon Architect’s are currently part of the wider site team, inputting where necessary into the initial design of the buildings.
