Mailbox Repositioning

Birmingham

Weedon Architects were appointed by Brockton Milligan as Executive Architects for the Mailbox Repositioning in Birmingham’s city centre,

The Stanton Williams design involved a major refurbishment of the previously developed Mailbox, including new interventions to improve the visitor and occupier experience. The work saw the retail mall at The Mailbox enclosed and sky-lit, to create an urban room with new facades, finishes and retail frontages.  Larger public areas with improved way-finding throughout the mixed-use scheme was introduced plus improvements to the surrounding infrastructure.

A new three-screen, 12,000 sq ft boutique cinema for Everyman complements Harvey Nichols which forms the Anchor for the development
Weedon Architects also provided architectural services for the design and fit out of the 45,000 sq ft office space for Advanced Computer Software Group (ACS). It is believed to be the largest single floorpate available within Birmingham and will see ACS take the entire third floor as well as it becoming the firm's Midlands HQ.

Weedons provided ongoing services to Brockton Milligan for the fit out of the remaining retail units.
